You are responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job responsibilitiesSupports review of controls to ensure sufficient protection of enterprise dataAdvises and makes custom configuration changes in one to two tools to generate a product at the business or customer requestUpdates logical or physical data models based on new use casesFrequently uses SQL and understands NoSQL databases and their niche in the marketplaceAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL use casesExperience across the data lifecycleAdvanced at SQL (e.g., joins and aggregations)Working understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoSignificant experience with statistical data analysis and ability to determine appropriate tools and data patterns to perform analysisExperience customizing changes in a tool to generate productPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsHands on experience in Pyspark and Databricks and AWS Services such as ECS, Lambdas and EKS services.Exposure to Java and Mongo is a plus.
