Accounts Receivable Representative

We are currently seeking a proactive and meticulous AR Collections Coordinator to enhance our finance team. Key Responsibilities Collections & Customer Interaction: Proactively manage accounts receivable collections by communicating with clients via phone, email, and other channels to secure timely payments. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing and payments, providing excellent customer service. Cash Applications & Reporting: Handle daily cash applications, record bank deposits, and update cash receipt logs. Perform daily AR reporting and reconciliations. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of all collection efforts for legal, audit, and compliance purposes. Generate Notices to Owner (NTO) for applicable jobs. Collect lien releases and sign partial lien waivers as required. Process credit card payments as needed. Skills &Qualifications Experience: 1–2 years in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar finance role (construction industry experience preferred). Technical Skills: Proficient with accounting software (Jonas Construction software experience a plus). MS Outlook (email, contacts, calendar), MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access (custom applications). Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Analytical mindset and ability to work effectively under deadlines. Competitive compensation based on experience.
