Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our talented imaging team committed to delivering the highest quality care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct various diagnostic exams, work collaboratively with a supportive team of healthcare professionals, and help provide assurance to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly and compassionately explaining each step
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Keep meticulous records of procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated with developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Exceptional technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
