Dentist – Contract (IHS Critical Fill)

Location: Blackfeet Service Unit, Browning, MT
Address: 760 Hospital Cir, Browning, MT 59417
Term: 1 Year + 4 Option Years
Start Date: ASAP (after credentialing)
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $130 – $131/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,200 – $5,240/week (40 hrs/week)

Job Summary

Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, extractions, and preventive dental services in a federally operated clinical setting.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery ( DDS ) or Doctor of Dental Medicine ( DMD ) degree

• Active U.S. dental license (or eligibility for Montana licensure/reciprocity)

• Minimum 2+ years clinical dentistry experience preferred

• Experience in general dentistry, extractions, restorative procedures, and preventive care

• Ability to work full-time in a clinic-based environment

Credentials

• DDS or DMD degree – Required

• Active Dental License – Required

• DEA registration – May be required depending on prescribing scope

• BLS – Preferred (facility dependent)

Setting / Work Environment

• Outpatient dental clinic

• Federal healthcare system (IHS – Blackfeet Service Unit)

• Mixed adult and pediatric patient population

• Independent clinical practice expected
