Location: This position is based on-site in Lebanon, KY. Remote work is not available. Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Employment Type: Non-Exempt | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and inspect parts using precision measurement equipment and record results.
- Prepare customer part approval and quality documentation.
- Conduct floor audits to verify standardized work, documentation, and product quality.
- Support launch activities by attending trials and documenting results.
- Package and ship trial parts to customers and global facilities for testing.
- Develop and maintain Control Plans, Manufacturing Quality Charts (MQCs), Checking Fixture Instructions, and Check Instruction Sheets (CIS) documentation.
- Perform Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) studies and support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities.
- Assist with customer complaint investigations and problem-solving activities.
- Participate in launch meetings and cross-functional quality discussions.
- Support Quality Engineers and Quality Management with quality improvement projects.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques and basic quality tools.
- Experience using inspection and measurement equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and procedures.
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Basic understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, and statistical process control.
- Experience with measurement equipment and quality documentation.
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor activities.
- Frequent standing, walking, and inspection work.
- Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
