Companion Animal Senior Territory Manager - Jacksonville, FL

Merck seeks a Senior Territory Manager for companion animal products in northern Jacksonville, FL and southeast Georgia. The role involves direct customer engagement with veterinary clinics and corporate accounts, developing territory strategies, and driving sales growth of the company's animal health product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Meet with veterinary clinic and corporate account decision-makers to understand needs and identify business opportunities
• Develop and execute customer and territory strategies aligned with company goals and account growth
• Communicate product portfolio value and relevant solutions tailored to individual customer requirements
• Analyze monthly sales results, manage expenses, and collaborate with distribution partners on key accounts
• Identify and recommend programs and educational resources to address customer needs

Requirements

• High school diploma with 10+ years sales experience, or bachelor's degree with 5+ years sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple accounts and develop territory strategies
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad
• Ability to travel overnight and occasional weekend activity
• Sales experience in animal health industry preferred
• Knowledge of animal health biologics and pharmaceuticals preferred
