Medical-Surgical Nurse – Nursing

Schedule - Shift: Nights 7 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holiday - On-call as per unit needs

Assignment Details - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed, 36 hours not guaranteed

Requirements - Unencumbered state RN license - BLS certification - Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience - Minimum 1 year of travel experience - High acuity unit, mentor/charge experience required

Roles & Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological health and develop individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor patient responses. - Document all patient assessments and interventions in accordance with healthcare regulations. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care. - Educate patients and families on managing conditions, preparing for discharge, and post-hospital care. - Recognize and respond to emergencies, providing immediate care for life-threatening conditions.
