We invite you to join our team!Location: 516 Mount Hope Avenue, Bangor, Maine, 04401What You'll DoOur Human Resources team is the driving force behind recruitment, employee relations, training, the administration of compensation and benefits and other initiatives to enhance the overall work experience for our dedicated staff.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipates in the recruitment process for all departments, ensuring the acquisition of qualified and compassionate healthcare professionalsPartners with Talent Acquisition to develop and execute strategy for recruiting partnerships, advertising, and the center's hiring processMay administer health insurance programs, savings program, pension plan, and life insurance plans.Develops and implements employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace cultureHandles employee relations matters with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalismPlans and oversees training and development initiatives to enhance staff skills and knowledgeMaintains and ensures compliance to HR policies and procedures, regulations and best practicesPrepares compliance records, statistics, special reports and turnover analysis if necessary.Manages workers compensation, personal & family leave, unemployment and disability programsCollaborates with leadership to create strategies for talent retention and succession planningAccountable for day-to-day transactional HR tasks and resource to employeesParticipates in the facility's quality improvement program; sets objectives and monitors their completion on a quarterly basisJoin a team that supports exceptional resident care by creating a workplace where the whole team thrives and where your HR expertise is valued and appreciated.What We OfferAs an affiliate of National Health Care, our Eastside team enjoys:Competitive compensation and benefits packageComprehensive training and mentorshipOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive and collaborative work environmentThe chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residentsRate of PayUSD $72,000.00 - USD $77,000.00 /Hr.What You'll BringQualifications of a Human Resources Manager include:Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferredExperience as an HR Manager, preferably in a healthcare or Long-Term Care settingKnowledge of insurance, benefits, unemployment compensation and state or federal guidelines pertaining to Human Resources preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCompassionate and empathetic nature toward staff, candidates and othersAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionProficiency in office software and basic computer skillsStrategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goalsWe Hire for Heart!National Health Care Associates (National) is proud to be a family-run organization since 1984.
