Salad Line Cook
Little Mama's Italian is coming to Cornelius! We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salad Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values consistency, and takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh salads and cold dishes using high-quality ingredients
- Complete all prep related to station
- Follow established recipes to ensure consistency and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation
- Multitask effectively in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Assist with prep work and ingredient organization
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling
- Strong knife skills and a passion for continuous learning
