SKILLS REQUIRED:

Primary (Must-Have):

• Proven expertise in the Eagle Investment Accounting platform, specifically Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE modules

• Strong hands-on experience with the Eagle Product Suite, focusing on Eagle Reference Data and Pricing modules

• Deep understanding of the Eagle Data Model

• Advanced Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server database development skills

• Extensive experience analyzing and designing ETL processes and data workflows within financial services

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Experience mapping application architectures, integration points, and connectivity within an investment ecosystem

• Proficiency with version control and project management tools (Git, JIRA)

• Experience identifying technical debt and technical vulnerabilities, and proposing future-state remediation strategies

• Background in technical mentorship or providing guidance to engineering/analytics teams

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Elite Senior Eagle Consultant to join a highly visible investment accounting team based onsite in New York, NY. Functioning as a technical subject matter expert, the incumbent will own the optimization of investment data flows, application architecture reviews, and product configurations across Eagle STAR, PACE, and reference data modules. This role requires an architect-level understanding of financial data models to translate complex investment accounting requirements into high-performance Oracle/SQL solutions, directly supporting future-state platform roadmap objectives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the Eagle STAR, Eagle PACE, Reference Data, and Pricing modules, taking ownership of Eagle technical specifications and component configurations.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance SQL Server and Oracle database solutions (including complex PL/SQL development) to support enterprise investment accounting operations.

• Analyze, optimize, and map investment data flows and ETL processes across multiple repositories, systems, and databases to ensure data integrity and system performance.

• Review application architecture, connectivity, and integration points within the investment platform ecosystem, sourcing data from Git, JIRA, and application inventories to build comprehensive architectural documentation.

• Identify technical vulnerabilities, system performance bottlenecks, and technical debt, subsequently delivering future-state recommendations aligned with industry best practices.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prepare test data, formulate test plans, execute technical testing, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
