Customer Service & Order Entry Representative Location: Honolulu, HI Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Bishop & Company is seeking a Customer Support Representative for a local Hawaii employer. Position Summary Under the direction of the Customer Support Manager, the Customer Service & Order Entry Representative provides excellent customer service, processes customer orders and invoices, and performs administrative duties to support daily department operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Answer incoming customer service and sales support calls, assisting customers, brokers, sales representatives, and delivery personnel. Receive, enter, and process customer orders for local, neighbor island, mainland, export, and inter-company accounts. Process orders and invoices through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. Accurately prepare invoices and post batches in Great Plains (GP) according to company procedures. Maintain physical and electronic records, files, reports, and invoices. Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, scanning, photocopying, emailing, and document preparation. Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Accounting, Warehouse, Delivery, and Administration. Work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace. Qualifications Associate's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience, preferably with order entry responsibilities. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience working with databases, ERP, or accounting systems preferred. Ability to type at least 25 words per minute and use a 10-key calculator by touch. Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds. Ability to operate standard office equipment and perform computer-based work.
