Job Overview A law firm seeks a Technology Specialist in Chemistry for its Dallas, TX office. Duties Draft patent applications, including descriptions and figures. Correspond with the patent office regarding pending applications. Advise patent litigation teams based on technical expertise. Interview inventors about new ideas. Requirements PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field with small molecule and/or pharmaceutical experience. 1–3 years of patent drafting and/or prosecution experience. Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (preferred). Education PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.
