Key Responsibilities Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions according to the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) standards, ensuring compliance with State regulations. Perform thorough clinical assessments to understand client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices. Document and maintain clinical records in a timely and accurate manner to adhere to HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality of client information. Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration to coordinate integrated care for clients, attending regular case conferences as needed. Participate in supervision or peer support sessions to enhance clinical practices and share insights with colleagues. Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions, ensuring that client confidentiality is respected and maintained. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clinical focus will traverse a variety of demographics, treating clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. Your ability to provide culturally competent care will be essential in fostering therapeutic relationships and achieving positive outcomes. Qualifications Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required. At least 2 years of direct clinical experience, although newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply depending on the specific needs of the role. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, showcasing a breadth of therapeutic approaches. Proven strong clinical skills in areas including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relational issues. Competence in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient clinical documentation and management. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills that will promote a positive client experience. Preferred Experience Experience in community health settings, providing cross-cultural therapy that respects and acknowledges the diverse backgrounds of clients. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities related to trauma, attachment issues, or family systems. A history of engagement in continuing education and professional development opportunities. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.
