Los Angeles, CA, USA • 13561 Sherman Way, Van Nuys, CA 91405, USA Job Description Posted Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM Reports to: Senior Director, HSSP-ODR Program: 1307-HSS MHSA Department: Integrated Care Location: Sherman Way Van Nuys - 13561 Sherman Way, Van Nuys, CA 91405 Setting: Not 100% Onsite Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Status: Full-time/Non-Exempt/Non-Management Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 403(b) Retirement plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), etc. Openings: 1 The Program Manager, Housing Support Services Program will oversee the HSSP ODR Project-Based Buildings including clinical services provided to justice-involved population. HSSP is a specialized program that provides comprehensive and intensive field-based community mental health services designed to meet the unique needs of individuals in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) who are formerly homeless and have a Severe Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The Program Manager will monitor and ensure the team of clinicians provides high-quality services that meet or exceed required contract, funder, and agency standards. The Program Manager will provide administrative and clinical supervision for direct practice clinicians, if applicable. This position is responsible for maintaining the efficiency of operations while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities In collaboration with the Leadership team of HSSP, monitor all administrative aspects of agency’s Department of Mental Health (DMH) contracted HSSP, including billing and contract maximization in compliance with contract goals and outcomes in a timely manner. Complete required reporting to funders as outlined by contract requirements. Ensure all clinical and mental health staff documentation and data collection is complete, timely, accurate, and current in agency records and electronic databases. Provide individual and group clinical supervision for clinicians and document according to Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology standards, if applicable. Provide individual and team supervision, support, and performance evaluations for all assigned staff. Collaborate and coordinate with ODR ICMS Team to provide intensive wraparound services to residents of project-based housing sites. Assist in recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct service staff. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure proper staff orientation, training and audit preparedness for all clinical and mental health contracts. Ensure adherence to funding source contract and performance standards. Maintain a current, thorough knowledge of community resources and utilize these to provide services to clients. Effectively represent agency at funding partner or collaborative meetings. Maintain caseload of up to 10, if applicable. Provide Intern training, support, and supervision as needed. Provide training and support to peers as needed. Support crisis management needs such as risk assessments and psychiatric hospitalization applications. Assist in crisis interventions as needed, including participating in on call rotation calendar for overnight and weekend After Hours Emergency Line. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field of study from an accredited university. Valid registration and licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Outstanding clinical review skills. Strong training, project management, and team-building skills. Able to behave with sensitivity, tact, politeness and responsiveness with staff and clients. Detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and computer skills. Knowledge of trauma informed services, housing first and harm reduction methodologies. Experience providing administrative and clinical supervision. Experience working with people living with mental illness and/or substance abuse. Contract and quality assurance experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications. Preferred Qualifications DMH experience. Crisis assessment/management experience. Combination of field and office environment. On occasion walk or drive to different local sites. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 35 pounds. Will necessate working in busy and at times loud environments. Will be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odor. May need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the day.
