Overview Jackson Lewis P.C. is a leading full‑service employment‑law firm with over 1,000 attorneys nationwide. The firm is ranked in the first tier nationally for Labor and Employment Litigation and for both Employment Law and Labor Law on behalf of management. This Associate attorney position is located in the firm’s Los Angeles, CA office. Responsibilities Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment‑related claims and agency charges. Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues. Represent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non‑compete cases. Class Action/PAGA experience preferred but not required. Qualifications JD from ABA‑accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. 4–6 years of experience, employment law background strongly preferred. Current California Bar admission in good standing. Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational, time‑management, and project‑management skills. Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork. Compensation For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $222,500 and $242,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.
