About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Communications to lead its global brand strategy, communications platform, and marketing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of integrated marketing, communications, and public relations strategies that enhance brand awareness, effectively communicate the organization's mission and impact, and support fundraising initiatives. This executive will oversee brand positioning, content development, and public relations strategy, ensuring that the organization's message is clear, compelling, and consistent across all channels. A critical aspect of the role is to align marketing strategy and messaging with the integrated fundraising model, particularly for the organization's primary donor base. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Marketing and Communications role at the company will have a proven track record in leading and mentoring marketing and communications teams. They should be adept at guiding the strategy and performance of these functions and be able to strengthen systems, processes, and strategic alignment across departments. The role requires a leader who can ensure that the organization's message resonates with its supporters, particularly those who are responsive to mission-centered storytelling, faith-informed messaging, and clear demonstrations of humanitarian impact. The Vice President will be a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and Global Chief Operating Officer, and will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's mission and strengthening its public voice.
