MDS Director
Job Summary
Millington Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced MDS Director to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Millington, TN. As a vital member of our Financial Services Office, the MDS Director will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by overseeing the assessment, care planning, and care delivery processes. Responsibilities
MDS Director : Oversee the entire MDS process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and accrediting agency standards.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments, care plans, and care delivery.
MDS Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and social needs, identifying opportunities for improvement in care delivery.
Care Planning : Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that meet patients' specific needs and goals.
Care Delivery : Ensure patients receive high-quality, person-centered care that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Directly supervise and mentor MDS coordinators, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree : In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2+ Years of Experience : In a leadership role, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Strong MDS Knowledge : Demonstrate expertise in MDS assessment and care planning principles, policies, and regulations.
Excellent Communication : Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong Leadership : Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
