Legal Assistant

We are actively interviewing a Litigation Legal Assistant for a permanent, full-time position with a national law firm’s Kansas City office. The Litigation Legal Assistant will support attorneys & paralegals by drafting and proofreading legal documents, handling electronic court filings, maintaining case files, managing calendars, and providing general administrative and billing support. HOURS : Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST SCHEDULE | LOCATION : HYBRID | Kansas City, MO (four days in office/week) PAY : $60K - $75K + Overtime + Discretionary Bonus IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS 2+ yrs of Legal Assistance experience REQUIRED, preferably in Litigation Proficient in MS Office Suite, case management software and other technology Desired litigation experience includes trial preparation and electronic filing Proactive team player who communicates effectively and successfully manages time & competing priorities ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and discovery materials Handle electronic court filings, download pleadings, and assist with trial preparation Maintain paper and electronic case files, manage file openings, and run conflict checks Coordinate calendars, travel, depositions, CLE tracking, and digital transcription Process expenses, time entries, and pre-bills, while updating clients and timekeepers SearchPointNY/Noor Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
