Sign-on Bonus for Eligible OMH Community Residence Positions
Full time positions are now eligible for a $1,000 or $2,000 sign-on bonus, $250/$500 every 3 months for one year. Part time positions are now eligible for a $500 or $1,000 sign-on bonus, $125/$250 every 3 months for one year. New hires, rehires, and transfers are eligible for this sign-on bonus. ( ELIGIBLE POSITIONS : All located at Conable House CR (Bath, NY) and Lake Breeze CR (Canandaigua, NY), including but not limited to titles such as Counselor, Overnight Counselor, Recreation Specialist, Residence Manager, and Senior Counselor)

Nature of Work:

This position is responsible for assuring that program youth are adequately supervised and cared for in a safe and therapeutic manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma and experience with children and/or adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. An Associates degree is preferred.
• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
• Requires a valid drivers' license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency owned vehicles.
