Job Description
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including briefs, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas, under attorney supervision.
- Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and evidence.
- Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other case-related documents.
- Coordinate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, witnesses, and experts.
- File documents electronically in state and federal courts via E-Courts and PACER.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, client communications, and case strategy.
- Prepare settlement packages, trial binders, and exhibits for hearings or trials.
- Track and report billable hours; assist with invoicing as needed.
- Support the litigation team with other case-related tasks as required.
- Flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines or court requirements.
