Job Title – Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry
Location – 1133 Eagles Landing Pkwy, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281, United States
Duration – 14 Weeks (06/08/2026 onward)
Shift – Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 PM – 07:00 AM)

Block Scheduling – No
Weekend Coverage – Every Other Weekend
Float – Yes (within facility/scope of practice as needed)
Call Requirement – No

Job Description
Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry responsible for providing high-acuity cardiac and medical care in an overflow IMCU/telemetry setting. The RN will manage a complex patient population including cardiac, respiratory, renal, and post-procedural cases with a typical ratio of 1:5–1:6.

This assignment requires prior travel RN experience and strong competency in continuous IV medication management, cardiac monitoring, and rapid response situations. Candidates must be confident working in a fast-paced telemetry/stepdown environment with multisystem patients.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills / Experience
Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry/Stepdown/IMCU experience required
Prior travel RN experience required
Experience managing patient ratios of 1:5–1:6 required
Strong experience with cardiac drips required, including: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin
Experience with anticoagulants required: Heparin, Argatroban, Aggrastat
Insulin drip management required
Experience with diuretics: Lasix, Bumex
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
Experience with post-cardiac cath care and TR bands required
Experience with high-acuity telemetry/stepdown/IMCU environment required
Strong IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line management required
Experience with BiPAP/CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy required
Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred) required
Strong critical thinking and rapid response team utilization required

Certifications
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NIHSS preferred
