Patient Transporter
Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic
The role involves delivering and assisting with patient transport and medical supplies, ensuring proper sanitization of equipment like wheelchairs and gurneys, and maintaining safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include performing cleaning duties, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting the organization’s mission and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, write in English, and follow instructions.
- Effective team collaboration and communication skills with patients and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and interact respectfully across diverse backgrounds.
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk during shifts, lift 250-300 pounds with assistance, push/pull up to 500 pounds with help, and tolerate exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning agents.
