  • Position Summary

The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising events, community engagement activities, and donor‐focused programs that support the mission and financial goals of the organization. This role ensures seamless event logistics, strong stakeholder communication, and exceptional guest experiences while upholding the nonprofit’s values and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, galas, community programs, donor stewardship events, and special initiatives.
  • Develop event concepts, timelines, budgets, and production schedules.
  • Manage all event logistics including venue selection, catering, décor, audiovisual needs, permits, insurance, and safety compliance.
  • Serve as on‐site event lead, ensuring smooth operations, staff coordination, vendor management, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee event registration, ticketing, invitations, guest list management, and check‐in/check‐out procedures.
