This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, safety, and external contractors. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage capital projects including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution. Collaborate with process engineers, plant personnel, and external vendors to ensure project alignment with operational goals. Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Support commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of new systems and equipment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in project engineering within a chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of process systems, piping, instrumentation, and industrial equipment. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP). Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. PMP certification or Six Sigma training is a plus.
