Overview
Registered Nurse, Radiation Oncology – Clinic in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This travel assignment starts on 09/22/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,631 to $2,710, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts are 10 hours, weekdays (4-10s). The position is in a hospital-based clinic within a Radiation Oncology team, requiring an active Colorado RN license, BLS and ACLS, and specialized Radiation Oncology experience (not Medical Oncology).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Radiation Oncology patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and follow-up in coordination with the Radiation Oncology Team.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologist and multidisciplinary teammates; act as liaison among departments, physicians groups/offices, and counseling/support services.
- Administer medications and manage treatment-related side effects; monitor patient tolerance and respond to actual or potential complications.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, expected side effects, and resources; provide counseling and emotional support as needed.
- document accurately and timely in medical records; maintain clinical standards, infection control, and patient safety throughout the treatment continuum.
- Support discharge planning and referrals to ancillary services (e.g., nutrition, rehabilitation, hospice) to optimize recovery and quality of life.

Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years RN Radiation Oncology experience (not Oncology RN experience)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic/hospital setting; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to coordinate oncology patient care with interdisciplinary staff; knowledge of chronic illness and cancer care best practices
