Customer service Representative.

Connect Staffing is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a manufacturing company in Conroe, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $15-$19/hr depending on experience. In this role, you will process sales orders, prepare shipping and receiving documents, manage inventory records, and communicate directly with customers before and after the sale. This position handles both office work and hands-on shipping and receiving duties, so no two days look exactly the same.

Pay:$15-$19/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Review sales orders to confirm requirements are clearly defined, consistent with the original quote, and within the company's capabilities.
• Prepare Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and shipping invoices for outgoing customer shipments.
• Pack, label, and route outgoing shipments; inspect and document incoming shipments for shortages or damage.
• Capture MTR (Material Test Report) data on received raw materials and maintain inventory records for raw materials and shipping supplies.
• Communicate with customers to handle complaints, investigate issues, and coordinate resolutions.
• Coordinate with production and management on order completion status and issue raw materials to the production floor.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, order processing, or shipping and receiving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of conformance.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking or ERP/order management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Fishbowl, or similar).
• Background in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.
• Experience handling customer complaints and coordinating resolutions with internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple open orders and deadlines without losing accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
