Senior Fund Accountant - Boston, MA - Hedge Fund Our team is working with a leading Boston-based hedge fund looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant for their growing team. Open due to a promotion, the Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting fund‑level accounting processes, assisting with audit preparation, and partnering with compliance, investor relations, and investment teams. Full‑time position, 4 days in the office & 1 day WFH, offering 110-120K base, 20% bonus, and 100% benefits. Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the management company and related entities Support fund‑level accounting processes, including expense allocations, accruals, and reconciliations Ensure accuracy and timeliness of general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP Assist with audit preparation, including schedules, documentation, and responses Support regulatory and compliance‑related financial reporting requirements Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency Help implement system enhancements or process automation initiatives as the firm grows Partner with compliance, investor relations, and investment teams on financial matters Support new initiatives, fund launches, or business growth activities as needed Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting; ideally public or public/private mix Asset management / financial services experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles Advanced Excel; experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks) a plus CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Daley And Associates, LLC
