Ford Service ManagerGabrielli Truck Sales is seeking an experienced and driven Ford Service Manager to oversee daily operations of our Ford commercial truck service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technicians, advisors, workflow, customer satisfaction, warranty compliance, and departmental profitability while ensuring high-quality service standards for Ford commercial vehicles and fleet customers.This leadership role requires strong operational knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a fast-paced service team focused on efficiency, safety, and customer retention.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of the Ford service department to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle repairsSupervise service advisors, diesel technicians, porters, and support staffMonitor shop productivity, technician efficiency, and labor performance metricsEnsure all repairs and maintenance are completed according to Ford standards and manufacturer guidelinesMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving escalated service issues professionallyOversee warranty administration and ensure proper documentation and claim compliance with Ford policiesCoordinate scheduling and dispatching of repair orders to maximize shop productivityReview repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper billing proceduresWork closely with the parts department to ensure timely parts availability and inventory managementMaintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and company standardsRecruit, train, mentor, and develop service department personnelConduct regular team meetings focused on safety, performance, and operational improvementsMonitor departmental financial performance including labor sales, gross profit, and expense controlBuild and maintain strong relationships with fleet accounts and commercial customersSupport after-hours or emergency customer service needs when necessaryQualificationsPrevious experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Shop Foreman in a truck dealership or heavy-duty repair environmentExperience with Ford commercial vehicles and warranty systems preferredStrong knowledge of diesel truck diagnostics, maintenance, and repair operationsProven leadership and team management experienceExcellent organizational, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesProficiency with dealership management systems and computer softwareValid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not requiredPreferred SkillsExperience managing fleet and municipal accountsUnderstanding of Ford warranty procedures and OEM compliance standardsAbility to analyze KPIs, technician productivity, and departmental financial reportsStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilitiesCommitment to employee development and continuous process improvementGabrielli Truck Sales is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
