Job Description
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies that support their functional aspirations
  • Implement Therapeutic Activities: Employ evidence-based techniques to elevate patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily routines
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, all-encompassing care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their loved ones on therapy practices to ensure continued progress in their home environments
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes diligently and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the right path
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
