Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions
• Review, verify, and enter invoices accurately and timely
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on customer collections
• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Generate financial reports and assist with management reporting
• Assist with audits and special projects as needed
