CT Tech X-Ray Tech

Shift: Day - 3x12 Hours: 7am-7pm CT

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• OBMI and ARRT registered CT technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• CRASE training preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures and computed tomography to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
• Collaborate with patients to obtain clinical history and ensure proper documentation for licensed practitioners.
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing necessary instructions and reducing anxiety.
• Select and operate radiography equipment, positioning patients appropriately for optimal imaging results.
• Evaluate and ensure the technical quality of images, verifying proper identification is recorded.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications as prescribed, in accordance with state regulations and institutional policies.
