Fabrication Shop Hand | Up to $1,980+ w/OT WEEKLY!

Savard Personnel Group is seeking a Shop Hand in Scott, LA. This is a temp opportunity for a dependable, hardworking individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn, takes direction well, and is willing to assist wherever needed in the shop.


Key Requirements:

  • Previous fabrication shop experience required
  • Prepare structural steel for painting and apply industrial coatings using an airless paint sprayer. Previous airless paint sprayer experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided
  • Experience using grinders, drills, hand tools, and power tools
  • Must know how to read a tape measure
  • Must be willing to learn and take direction
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen


Shifts:

  • Monday - Sunday
  • 6:30 AM start time
  • Overtime and Weekends required
  • Average of 40 - 80 hours weekly

Duration:
  • Temp through September
