Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: WA License required, Pending License not accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Willingness to take call shifts Description: Surgical Tech position available. Willing to take up to 5 call shifts per month. May be required to take weekend call. No scheduled weekend shifts. First-timers accepted. On-call required. Multiple specialties preferred: Orthopedics, General, Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, GYN, Urology, Robotics. Daily patient census ranges from 13 to 18. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Candidates must request all time off or specific scheduling requests upfront. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule may lead to termination of contract. References covering one year within the last three years are required. Must include a response to whether the candidate has previously worked for any medical facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem staff.
