Hardware Validation Manager for Networking and Signal Integrity

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and external vendors/partners to track qualification status and report progress to organization leaders.Act as a "go-to" technical leader with in-depth knowledge of the test methodologies, technologies, equipment and the hardware being deployed.Maintain and improve qualification processes while supporting career development and growth of individual team members and making hiring and talent choices.Conduct signal integrity focused testing of all data center products.Ensure high-speed interfaces and all other elements on our boards and systems meet specifications and requirements.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.6 years of experience working in a data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up and validation technical environment.3 years of experience in technical leadership.Preferred qualifications:Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.12 years of experience in data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up, and validation environments.Experience in signal integrity concepts and high-precision test equipment for measurements and bit error rates.Experience managing test teams, overseeing lab work, data collection, root-cause analysis, and improving qualification processes.Understanding of testing and hardware validation requirements, best practices, and algorithms for data center hardware.Knowledge of networking equipment, including network interface cards (NICs), switches, and cabling, as well as interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet.Be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products.
