In this role, you will own the technical lifecycle of complex projects, prioritizing secure coding practices, user privacy, and exceptional UX to drive high-quality outcomes. You will also integrate advanced AI-enabled frameworks and development tools to accelerate product capabilities and streamline your daily workflow. This is an ideal role for an engineer eager to bridge the gap between technical strategy and hands-on, high-impact product development.Minimum QualificationsBachelors + 7 years of related experience, or Masters + 4 years of related experience, or PhD + 1 year of related experience, or equivalent related work experienceExperience working with both cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and on-premises environments, specifically involving Kubernetes container orchestrationProficiency in programming in Python.Experience with AI/ML frameworks, generative AI, and large language models.Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, leveraging deep expertise in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and secure coding practices. Requires proven hands-on experience deploying and managing scalable solutions within cloud environments and on-premise environments.Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of Node.js.A strong foundation in responsible AI practices, AI governance, and artificial intelligence compliance, complemented by hands-on experience in prompt engineering and generative AI proficiency to meet business objectives.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform), and network automation.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams.Experience in mentoring and upskilling junior engineers to ensure high-quality engineering standards and technical proficiency.Why Cisco?
