• Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, family members, and caregivers to design integrated care plans.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and families to sustain progress between therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain up-to-date, precise documentation following state, federal, and organization protocols.
• Stay at the forefront of the field by engaging in ongoing education and collaborating with peers.

Education and Certification Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not ASHA certified.

Professional Credentials

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
