Lead Civil Designer

Job Summary Join Our Client as a Lead Civil Designer in Houston, TX! Requires a B.S., 10+ years' experience, and expertise in Civil3D/OpenRoads. Work with a premier global leader delivering generation-defining projects that elevate standards of living and shape history worldwide! Location: Houston, Texas. Job type: Contract. Salary: $67.66 - 72.00 per hour. Work hours: 8am to 5pm. Education: Bachelors. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the work of civil designers and drafters to prepare layouts, detailed 2D/3D CAD design models, and construction drawings. Develop complete designs for complex civil engineering systems, including earthworks, drainage, and road designs, utilizing Civil3D or OpenRoads Designer. Monitor and check design work to ensure compliance with approved engineering standards, installation codes, and regulations for safe and reliable operations. Collaborate across project teams to conduct constructability reviews, prepare material requisitions, and perform quantity takeoffs of civil materials. Support project planning by preparing civil design estimates, developing standardized drafting procedures, and evaluating design scope changes for Our Client.
