Behavioral health assessment capabilities. Capability to develop individualized care plans based on patient needs. Experience with medication management and monitoring for side effects. Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with patients. Description: This position involves assessing patients' mental health status. It includes recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders and behavioral problems. The role requires taking thorough patient histories and observing behavior. Documentation is performed using an electronic medical system. Crisis intervention support is provided to patients in distress. The responsibilities include developing care plans with specific goals. Monitoring physical and psychological symptoms is essential. Therapeutic communication is critical for patient engagement. The unit serves various populations with different acuity levels. Flexibility in scheduling is required due to staffing needs. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is expected. Strong understanding of psychotropic medications is needed.
