Hospitalist Physician

Job Title: Locum Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Join a new practice launching in Redwood City, CA on November 1, 2026! This innovative facility supports approximately 1,200 births annually and features a Level II NICU with Medical Director support from Stanford. Work alongside a dedicated team of 5 OB-GYN Hospitalists in a collaborative and dynamic clinical environment, where you'll be integral to community care and engaged in a variety of obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide in-house, 24-hour shifts for OB and GYN triage/surgery
• Manage labor and delivery processes
• Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Conduct inpatient consults for various clinical needs

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)
• Current California medical license (required)
• California DEA (required)
• Minimum of 1-year clinical experience (required)
• Completion of Prescreen Questionnaire (required)
• CV must be formatted in MM/YYYY with all gaps explained (required)
• Clean background with minimal malpractice claims (required for credentialing)
• Preferred candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience

License and Certification Requirements:

• California state medical license
• Board certification in OB/GYN
• California DEA registration
