Registered Nurse RN Infection Control/Educator

RN Infection Control/Educator Key Responsibilities:

• Infection Control: Develop, implement, and maintain infection control policies and procedures to prevent and control infectious diseases in our facility.

• Educator: Provide education and training to staff members on infection control practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Assessment and identification: Conduct thorough assessments of patients and residents to identify potential infection control risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Investigation and reporting: Conduct investigations into incidents of infectious disease outbreaks and report findings to senior management and regulatory agencies.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including nursing, quality assurance, and environmental services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to infection control and prevention.

• Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to ensure that infection control best practices are disseminated to all staff members.
