Quality Engineer

Job Description Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing Manufacturing company that is seeking a Quality Engineer Pay is $80K - $120K depending on experience. This position is in your backyard. Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of quality engineering, quality assurance, or quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience leading internal audits and supporting external audits
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Government/Military contract review
- Government source inspection
- Engineering change reviews and evaluating quality impacts of design or process changes
- Direct experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Metrology and Calibration systems
- Experience with ERP systems, document control systems, and electronic quality management systems
- Experience in a small-to-medium-sized manufacturing organization where the individual owned multiple aspects of the quality function
