3rd Shift CNC Sheet Metal Operator

Insight Global is seeking two experienced Sheet Metal CNC operators for our client in Norfolk, VA. These candidates will have 3-5 years of experience operating press brakes and using precision la to bend and form aluminum, copper, brass, and steel materials. These candidates will be experienced with following work packages, interpreting schematics, and providing prompt feedback on work completed. This role is fully on-site, no travel required, and the hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30 pm - 7:00 am. The salary is based on years of experience and ranges between $35-$40/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of sheet metal experience.
Experience operating a press brake (Amada preferred) and laser machine, accounting for precise measurements, cuts, and bends.
Experience working with aluminum, brass, copper, and steel materials.
Knowledgeable in interpreting blueprints.
Ability to use and read a tape measure.
Experience with basic tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision squares.

CAD experience (2D)
Experience programming
