Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and lab analyses
• Work intensively with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative support - prepping the surgical space, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, attending to wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Prior clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus are highly encouraged

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
