Human Resources Coordinator
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the HR Leaders and staff with all aspects of human resources to include overseeing various tasks, processes, and special projects independently. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, assisting applicants and employees with general inquiries, and serving as the principal contact for final candidates and newly hired employees. The coordinator processes new hire paperwork, coordinates medical testing, and ensures compliance with government and organization recordkeeping requirements. They prepare onboarding packets, maintain new hire employee files, and assign keys and badges to new hires. The coordinator also assists with performance evaluations, provides consultative guidance, and maintains confidentiality as required by HIPAA and other regulations. They participate in activities that encourage employee retention and provide back-up support to the HR team. The coordinator delivers, sorts, and distributes office mail, orders office supplies, and ensures tasks are completed timely to meet HR metrics and regulatory compliance. They assist with candidate sourcing and screening, participate in recruitment activities, and adhere to all corporate and hospital initiatives, policies, and procedures. The coordinator attends mandatory training and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Associates degree with at least two years of Human Resources experience or bachelor's degree required. Minimum two years of previous experience in HR required. One year of experience with on-boarding new hire employees required. Healthcare setting/experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills are required. Must possess superb multi-tasking and organizing skills with effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
