The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Internet Sales Consultant Auto Alert. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn, the Internet Sales Consultant is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity with incredible growth potential. This position will be responsible for the handling of incoming and outgoing internet leads, phone calls and emails.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mine Auto Alert database to identify customers over milage on lease, or older vehicles pending costly repairs, where new vehicle purchase may make better sense.
• Prospect follow-up calls set appointments for sales, and gauge customer satisfaction.
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
• Meets customers in service to discuss new/used car options vs. repair cost
• Follow-up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales.
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Following up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership.
• Following up on all unsold customers, and any special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
• Maintaining a prospect and owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Great customer service skills & motivation to be successful.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to communicate persuasively with customers in person, and via phone and internet to set appointments, discuss options.
• Be able to create and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• Experience with Auto Alert software preferred
• Excellent phone presence.
• Knowledgeable to call center environment.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
• Great communication skills
• Team Player
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
