Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role, under general supervision, you will initiate, assess, and evaluate various forms of respiratory therapy, including bronchodilator treatments, chest physical therapy, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management. You will apply your technical expertise in respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as the operation and design of respiratory therapy equipment.

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Care Practitioner certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree.

Our facility, named in honor of the 35th president, has expanded to four locations in Palm Beach County. Our main campus is a 558-bed acute care hospital known for its services in emergency care, cardiovascular treatment, neurosciences, and robotic surgery. We also provide orthopedic and spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics. Our hospital is recognized as a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center and has a certified Ventricular Assist Device program. Additionally, we are an accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons.
