Marketing Specialist Location: Cerritos, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $80,000–$90,000/year (DOE) Company Overview A growing U.S.-based industrial materials distribution company is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support its continued business expansion. The company is currently strengthening its digital presence, brand identity, and overall marketing capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on marketing professional who enjoys building and improving marketing programs while working closely with sales and management. Position Summary The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and improving the company’s day-to-day marketing activities, with a strong focus on digital marketing, website management, branding, and sales support. This role will work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing as well as Inside and Outside Sales teams to develop marketing programs and materials that support lead generation, customer engagement, and business growth. Key Responsibilities Manage and improve the company website, including content updates, SEO, and lead-generation forms Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns through email, search, and social media Develop and maintain consistent branding, messaging, and marketing templates Create sales and marketing materials such as product information sheets, company capability presentations, case studies, and training materials Support e-commerce and online product catalog initiatives Coordinate trade shows, industry events, advertising, and promotional activities Track and analyze marketing performance, including website traffic, campaign results, lead generation, and cost effectiveness Manage customer communications such as newsletters, product updates, pricing/inventory alerts, and CRM-based outreach Work with suppliers and business partners on joint marketing opportunities Monitor competitors and industry trends to support effective market positioning Perform other related marketing duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Approximately 3–5 years of marketing experience B2B, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry experience preferred Hands‑on experience managing website content using WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms Experience with e-commerce or online ordering systems Working knowledge of digital marketing, including email marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools Strong writing and content creation skills Comfortable working with marketing data and performance reports Strong organizational and project management skills Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Experience marketing technical or industrial products Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms Experience coordinating trade shows and industry events Ability to translate technical product information into clear and engaging marketing content Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented marketer who enjoys taking ownership of projects and building marketing processes from the ground up.
