Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN)
Location: Montlake, WA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 4x10 Days (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) with variable days off.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing coronary device implant and diagnostic electrophysiology procedures. This role requires proficiency in performing ablation procedures and device management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, pacemaker, and ICD placements.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Utilize advanced electrophysiology equipment such as CARTO and Abbott mapping systems.
- Maintain and manage patient documentation using the EPIC charting system.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology lab or similar role.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Certification in Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) is preferred (RCIS/RCES or RT [ARRT]).
- Experience with cardiac device implants and ablation procedures is required.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
