Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Renewal Underwriter will manage communication with Pen and Brokerage Carriers, review underwriting information, and prepare quotes while ensuring high customer service standards are met. Key responsibilities: Communicate effectively with Pen and Brokerage Carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing Understand Pen Underwriting Guidelines to accurately quote business within authority Handle incoming inquiries from retail agents and carriers, ensuring satisfactory resolutions Required qualifications: Proficiency in Carrier Rating Portals, Microsoft Word, and Excel High School diploma required; college courses preferred 2-5 years of relevant experience in insurance, customer service, or banking Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
