Donato Brown Pool & Moehlmann, PLLC provides high-quality, professional legal services primarily to professional and business clients in an ethical, prompt, and cost-effective manner.

Summary : Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on various matters. Analyze legal issues, research relevant laws and regulations, and offer guidance to clients on the best course of action.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

1. Document Preparation and Review: Prepare legal documents such as contracts, agreements and other legal instruments. Review documents drafted by other parties to ensure they are accurate and in compliance with applicable laws. *
2. Representation in Court: Attorneys represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and motions. They present arguments, examine and cross-examine witnesses, and advocate for their clients' interests. *
3. Legal Research: Attorneys conduct thorough research on legal issues to gather relevant information and precedents. They analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and legal opinions to support their arguments and provide accurate advice to clients. *
4. Client Consultations and Meetings: Attorneys meet and communicate with clients to understand their legal needs, discuss case strategies, and provide updates on legal proceedings. They maintain regular contact with clients to ensure effective representation and address any concerns.
5. Negotiation and Settlement: Attorneys negotiate on behalf of their clients to reach favorable settlements in legal disputes. They engage in discussions with opposing parties or their legal representatives to find mutually agreeable resolutions outside of court, when possible.
6. Legal Ethics and Professionalism: Attorneys must uphold high ethical standards and abide by professional codes of conduct. They maintain client confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and act in the best interests of their clients. *
7. Continuing Legal Education: Attorneys stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents through ongoing legal education. This helps them maintain their knowledge and skills in their specific practice areas.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and previous experience with word processing software.

Certificates and Licenses:

Licensed to practice Law in the State of Texas

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
